If I were to become a teacher I think I would use surveys a lot! I think I'd use them to gauge how satisfied my students were with the lessons, especially with high school students. It would be really good in an English class to see how the students are feeling about the books we're reading. Excel would be also be really good at any level of teaching to keep track of grades and attendance. With all of the mathematic functions of excel it would really simplify the grading process. It might also be good to help students keep track of their own grades and what they need to do for the year. While there wasn't much difference between my blog and my classmates because we've all been writing on the same topics, there have been some interesting things! I particularly like reading everyones introduction posts. We are from so many different places! I'm surprised there is only one other person from Tallahassee in this class, I was expecting more.
